How long will it take to manufacture and ship my custom outerwear?

It varies depending on the current size of our queue, but we strive to complete most orders within a 3 week time period. During peak times or when we're over capacity, we'll update the site to reflect increased manufacturing times so you know ahead of time how long your order should take.

What does NWT3K stand for?

NWT3K is short for Northwest Tech. Our full company name is Northwest Technical Outerwear. NWT3K is the brand, kind of like Nike's swoosh.

How can I expect NWT3K jackets & Pants to fit?

At NWT3K, we pride ourselves on designing a unique fit and style for our products. The jackets and pants are a “free ride fit”, meaning that they will generally fit larger and longer than a traditional, more fitted ski or snowboard jacket & pant. This design prioritizes mobility, deep snow protection, and overall comfort.

We highly recommend using our sizing chart to determine your best fit. We also suggest sizing down if deciding between two sizes. Also, feel free to drop us a line and we will happily help you choose the proper sizing.

Are the jackets & pants insulated?

NWT3K ski and snowboard jackets & pants are 3-layer, waterproof, breathable pieces that are lined with a mini-mesh moisture wicking lining (new for 2014). This mini-mesh lining does provide extra warmth when compared to a shell type jacket or pant. All of our custom outerwear is designed for maximum breathability while still blocking out harsh winds and snow.

Can I change my order? What if my jacket does not fit right? This color looks different?

If you are not in love with the fit, style, or manufacturing of your custom order within 7 days of receiving your outerwear, we will issue a full refund for any unworn products

To avoid any problems we request that you carefully review our sizing chart to avoid any issues with fit, as well as carefully reviewing our manufacturer warranty to better understand our full return policy.

We try our best to replicate our exact material colors on our custom product builder. Due to different monitor brands and settings, we cannot guarantee that our online color representations will be the exact shade on your computer monitor.

If possible we suggest viewing our website on an Apple computer for the most accurate color representations.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes. We highly value our international customers, and are working to make their ordering process as simple as possible. International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and associated fees.

What happened to color X in the customizer?

Whenever we run out of a particular color, it's removed from the customizer. We do our best to restock as quickly as possible when this happens

Can I cancel my order once production has begun?

Yes, however, for in production orders, the best we can offer is a partial refund in order to ensure our costs are covered. Since all of our gear is custom made-to-order, once your order has entered production, we've already incurred real costs both in raw goods and manufacturing.
